The PD covers:
- Commedia dell'Arte: a "brief" trajectory of its birth to its place in Australia
- Archetypes: postures, walks, interaction
- Canovaccio development: lazzi and scene construction
- Commedia dell'Arte for a contemporary school context
- Strategies for engaging students
Why attend? Corinna has been actively supporting drama and Italian language teachers since 2005. She has delivered PDs in Adelaide, Sydney, Perth, London, Stockholm, San Francisco, and Paris (to name a few) as well as presented at a number of conferences including IDEA 2013. Corinna has published in the European Journal of Humour on the difficulties Australia based drama teachers have when teaching Commedia dell'Arte and is currently awaiting her PhD results, which examines Commedia dell'Arte for a contemporary Australian context. In 2004 she trained with Antonio Fava, a leading expert in the field and has worked with him in Australia in 2010, 2012, and 2013, where she ran a joint PD with him in Adelaide.
